A key part of LADS LADS LADS UK is the peer support that we offer as a group. You should never feel alone and our admins will always do their best to help with anything you wish to share with them. If you need urgent help you should always call on the emergency services by dialling 999 or the Samaritans on 116 123.
Some of our admins have specialist support roles as detailed below but do feel free to contact another admin if you are more comfortable with that:
Derek – As welfare lead, i find out a bit of information of what area they are in and I do some research on where they can find local food banks, research out of hours numbers if they need emergency accommodation. I am also part of the wider support group for members who suffer with depression and anxiety and need someone to talk to.
James – I’m the lead support admin, who mostly deals with people who suffer with depression and anxiety or are lonely and need someone to chat to.
Naz – I support those who trans and gender diverse but also those who need someone to talk to about addiction and recovery.
